Technical News Office – Low Light mode is coming to the popular instant messaging app WhatsApp, which will allow users to make video calls even in low light conditions. This feature was part of the recent WhatsApp update, which brought the ability to add filters and backgrounds to video calls. By enabling low light mode on WhatsApp, users can get better video quality when making calls in low light conditions, and the images will also be less blurry. Let us know in detail about this new feature of WhatsApp.
How to use low light mode on WhatsApp
To use low light mode on WhatsApp, users need to tap the bulb logo while on a video call. This new feature is available on the iOS and Android versions of the app, but has not yet arrived on the web app.
Step by step process to enable low light mode on WhatsApp:
First of all, you need to open WhatsApp on your phone.
After that, connect with a user via video call.
During a video call, tap the light bulb logo in the upper right corner.
If you don’t find it suitable, you can turn off low light mode.
Allow WhatsApp users to customize chat themes:
WhatsApp also recently released a new update that allows users to personalize their conversations with chat themes.
According to WABetaInfo, the new custom chat themes feature is available to select beta users, starting with WhatsApp version 2.24.21.34 for Android and version 24.20.71 for iOS. WhatsApp users enrolled in the Google Play beta program will have access to 22 different themes, each with 20 color variations. These customizations may include options to adjust both the chat background and conversation colors.
The new chat theme settings page will expand the customization options. Users will be able to apply a universal theme to all conversations or set different themes for specific chats, providing a new level of flexibility. Notably, themes will only be visible to the user who applied them, thus ensuring the privacy of both parties.
