The company currently only offers 6GB and 8GB of RAM on iPhone. If reports are to be believed, Apple could bring the largest RAM ever for the iPhone 17 series that will be launched next year. The company may provide 12GB of RAM in the iPhone 17 Pro Max, due to which users will experience better performance on the phone. At the same time, users can also benefit from 8GB of RAM in the base model of the phone.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi-Kuo said that 12GB of RAM will be provided in the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Apart from this, the company is also going to make major changes to the chip in its upcoming iPhone 17 series. Kuo shared information about the phone’s chip and processor on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. At the same time, a 2nm chip may be used in the iPhone 18 series. If reports are to be believed, the company may use the in-house A20 Bionic processor in the iPhone 18 series.
The chip will also be upgraded
Currently, no smartphone manufacturer uses a 2nm chip. Samsung and Google may also use powerful processors in their next flagship series. Google used a dedicated Titan M2 security chip in the Pixel 9 series launched this year. At the same time, Vivo uses an imaging chip in its flagship phones. Users are also expected to get better RAM and processor in the iPhone 17 flagship phone that will be launched next year.
