Mobile press office – Tecno is all set to launch a new foldable smartphone in India. The company is coming to India soon with Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 5G. The company itself provided this information ex post. It was launched worldwide on September 13. Techno also shared a photo on X, which gives a glimpse of the foldable phone. As of now, its launch date is not confirmed, but the company has started to tease it. The upcoming foldable phone will have features like the MediaTek Dimension chipset, an AMOLED display, and a 50MP camera.

Tecno Mobile India announced in an article on X that the Tecno Phantom V Fold 5G is sold out on Amazon. It is also written that this foldable phone is ahead of everyone. The company hasn’t shared many details about this yet. The only confirmation is that it will be introduced in India soon. After launch, you will be able to purchase it on Amazon.

The global variant of the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 5G features a sleek 6.42-inch Full HD+ AMOLED exterior display with a resolution of 1080 x 2550 pixels. Inside, there is a stunning 7.85-inch 2K+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2000 x 2296 pixels. For performance, the phone is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage option. The device is equipped with a triple rear camera system, which includes a primary lens 50 MP, a 50 MP portrait lens and a 50 MP ultra-wide sensor. Apart from this, it has a 32MP dual camera for selfie lovers.
