Technical News Office –Apple recently released the biggest update of iOS 18 after which the company is going to again introduce iOS 18.1 which will bring Apple Intelligence feature i.e. AI inside for the first time of the iPhone. But that’s not the only major update that comes with iOS 18.1. Apple is also reportedly bringing a hearing aid feature to the AirPods Pro 2 next week, which recently received FDA approval.

At its fall launch event, Apple showed off hearing aids, hearing protection, and hearing testing capabilities that will help users with hearing difficulties. This will improve the real-time audio experience. The company received FDA approval for this, making AirPods Pro 2 the first product to add hearing aid technology.
An integrated hearing test center will be available
According to MacRumors, iPhone users can now test their hearing health directly from their iPhone with a built-in hearing test. This test will play several tones and users will have to say when they can hear these tones. Apple will also introduce a new hearing protection feature in iOS 18.1, designed to protect users from loud noises.
Apple Intelligence features
iOS 18.1 will also introduce the first set of Apple Intelligence features. This will include smart tools like writing tools, notification summary, enhanced Siri, and smart replies to emails and messages. Siri will now be able to answer questions related to Apple products and switch between text and voice input. The Photos app will benefit from a new cleaning tool, which will make it easier to organize the library.
Camera control will be improved
Additionally, iOS 18.1 will bring new features like call recording and transcription, NFC chip access for third-party developers, and better iPhone mirroring. Camera controls will also be upgraded for iPhone 16 users, allowing you to switch between the front and rear cameras with just a few clicks.
