Maybe now I should start naming it too.” However, when he heard about this feature, he named his college roommates’ group chat “Roommates.”

To rename a group chat on iPhone, first open the group chat whose name you want to change. After that, go to the top of the chat, where the names or photos of the people included in the group are visible. You will see an “i” (information) button at the top right of the screen, tap it. Now you will see many options, tap Edit Name & Photo. After that, type the name you want to give to the group chat. After that, tap Done and save the new name.
