Mobile press office – There is good news for Apple fans who are waiting for an affordable iPhone model. According to a report, Apple may launch the iPhone SE 4 in the first half of 2025. According to claims by an analyst, mass production of the iPhone SE 4 may begin in December. The alleged fourth-generation smartphone is expected to arrive as a successor to the iPhone SE (2022) and would likely have a similar design to the iPhone 14.
iPhone SE 4 production is about to begin
Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at TF International Securities, said in a blog post that Apple’s suppliers will begin mass production of the iPhone SE 4 in December. Apple is expected to produce approximately 8.6 million units of the fourth-generation iPhone SE between December 2024 and the end of the first quarter (Q1) 2025.
Kuo previously announced that Apple aims to launch the iPhone SE 4 in the first quarter of 2025, which is in line with recent reports of its mass production. This development confirms a recent claim from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who suggested that Apple was close to creating an updated iPhone SE model, codenamed V59. It is expected to become Apple’s most affordable non-flagship iPhone when it launches.
iPhone SE 4 Core Specs (Expected)
Speaking of non-flagship iPhone models, there is news of major design changes to the iPhone SE 4. It is speculated that Apple may finally abandon the iPhone 8-like design and that the iPhone SE will 4th generation will resemble the iPhone 14. The rumored handset is also expected to support Face ID and Apple Intelligence features. The iPhone SE 4 may feature a single 48-megapixel rear camera. It is expected to have a 6.06-inch display with a 60Hz refresh rate. It may be powered by Apple’s A18 chipset with options of 6GB and 8GB LPDDR5 RAM.
