Let us tell you that the Delhi developer had initially purchased the JioHotstar domain and asked for Rs 1 crore from Reliance. However, Reliance had refused to give it away as they were planning to take legal action against him for trademark infringement.

The domain reached Dubai from Delhi
Now two kids from Delhi have claimed that they bought this domain from a Delhi developer. This was revealed through a letter shared on JioHotstar.com. Let us tell you that after the merger of Disney+ Hotstar and Viacom18, it is the best option to create a streaming platform. Let us tell you that the app developer from Delhi had himself purchased this domain in 2023 and had written a letter to Reliance Jio demanding to spend more than Rs 1 crore to purchase the domain. The developer said it would use the money to pursue an executive MBA course at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. However, later, a Reliance executive contacted him and rejected his offer of Rs 1 crore.

Two children bought the domain
A new landing page arrived on JioHotstar.com on Saturday, with two new faces welcoming visitors to the site. These two children are brother and sister and their names are Jainam and Jeevika. Jainam is 13 years old, while her sister Jeevika is 10 years old. In the letter shared on JioHotstar.com, these two children claimed that they purchased the JioHotstar domain to support a young software developer from Delhi.
