According to DownDetector, a website that monitors technical website issues, more than 2,000 users have reported issues on Instagram. Some users were also experiencing issues while using Facebook.
Users have been experiencing issues from logging in to posting on both of these Meta platforms. Many users of social media platform X have reported issues with Instagram. Most users were experiencing issues logging into the app and refreshing the home feed. No official information has been shared by Meta regarding the issue in the app. At the same time, some users also said that it was difficult to use Facebook.
Problem sharing photos and videos
Meta’s photo and video sharing platform has more than 200 million daily active users worldwide. Due to glitches in the app, users faced issues while uploading photos and videos. The cause of this problem in Instagram services has not been revealed. However, many users do not face any problems while using the application. This means that there is a partial outage on the application server.
On Downdetector, 27% of users reported experiencing issues when sharing content on Instagram. At the same time, 48 percent of users said they had difficulty using the app, while 25 percent of users said they had difficulty accessing the server. Even before that, millions of users were concerned about problems on Facebook and Instagram servers.
