Technical News Office –Xiaomi introduced a soap dispenser called Mijia Automatic Soap Dispenser Line Friends Limited Edition (translated from Chinese). This soap dispenser with a very long name was designed in partnership with the Line Friends brand. The limited edition soap dispenser claims to dispense foam in 0.25 seconds. It has a Type-C port for charging and the company says it comes with an IPX5-rated construction to protect against water.
Xiaomi’s Mijia Automatic Soap Dispenser, Line Friends Limited Edition, is currently available through crowdfunding. During this period, its price was maintained at 119 yuan (around Rs 1,400). This product is available on Xiaomi Youpin. The company says it will launch on November 6.
As its name suggests, this automatic soap dispenser was designed in partnership with the Line Friends brand. The limited edition is similar to the regular soap dispenser. However, it looks lovely. It is entirely yellow, with two eyes and lips at the bottom and a duck bill at the top to catch the soap. Overall, it’s inspired by the Sally theme.
It is equipped with touchless operation which, according to the company, can dispense soap in 0.25 seconds. It maintains a 12:1 air/liquid ratio to produce thick foam. The company claims the soap has a 99.9% antibacterial formula. It has a rechargeable battery with a Type-C port, which is said to last up to six months on a full charge. It is IPX5 rated to protect it from water. The 220 ml refillable bottle of the dispenser can be used approximately 300 times.
