It seems that its launch is near. Two devices from the Redmi K80 series – Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro may launch later this month. This launch will take place in China. It is said that the new Redmi phones will have a completely changed design. Its first preview was also received. In a real image, the Redmi K80 can be seen with a round-shaped camera module.
According to a report, looking at the real image of the phone shows that the Redmi K80 series will be introduced with a modified design. A circular camera island is provided at the top left corner of its rear panel. This design seems to be inspired by Xiaomi’s Civi smartphone series. A feature has also been confirmed from the image which indicates that the phone has a 50-megapixel sensor. The rest of the back is shiny. The volume rocker and power button are also visible on the right side of the phone. According to reports, at least three models could be launched in the Redmi K80 series. Apart from Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro, the company will offer Redmi K80e. These phones may be powered by MediaTek and Snapdragon chipsets.
The Pro model is expected to receive the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. This has been given in many recently launched processors. If other leaks are to be believed, the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro will have a flat OLED panel. The vanilla model may come with a 1.5K resolution panel and an optical fingerprint sensor, while the Pro model is expected to have a 2K resolution and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
