The company introduced it with the Samsung W25 foldable phone, which is a rebadged version of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, but with some major changes. Samsung W25 price in China is 15,999 yuan (approximately Rs. 1,88,500) for the base 16GB + 512GB storage configuration. At the same time, the price of the 16GB + 1TB variant is 17,999 yuan (approximately Rs 2,12,000). The phone is available for pre-order across online and offline channels and the company says its sales will begin from November 15.

The Samsung W25 is a rebadged variant of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, but with some major changes. These changes are not only in appearance but also in design and specifications. It bears the “Heart to the World” logo in black ceramic. At the same time, the frame is made of armored aluminum in gold color. Additionally, this model is 1.5mm thinner than the Z Fold 6, after which its total thickness when folded becomes 10.6mm.
Coming to the specifications, a big change is also seen in the display area. The new Samsung W25 sports a larger 8-inch QXGA+ resolution display (2,184 x 1,968 pixels), which is a 2X 20:18 Dynamic AMOLED panel and supports 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+ and maximum brightness of 2,600 nits. The cover display comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ 21:9 Dynamic 2X AMOLED panel with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, peak brightness up to 2,600 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The phone has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
Instead of the 50 MP main sensor found on the Z Fold 6, its rear camera setup gets a 200 MP main sensor. It is paired with a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 10 MP telephoto lens. There is a 10MP shooter on the outer display and a 4MP under-display camera on the main screen for selfies and video calls. The Samsung W25 packs a 4,400mAh battery, which supports 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. It has an IP48-rated build with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Talking about other features, it includes stereo speakers equipped with Dolby Atmos support. The phone will come with One UI 6.1.1 custom skin based on Android 14 operating system.
