Technical News Office – Google has released several new updates to its Chrome browser for iPhone, including new features designed to improve user experience and productivity. The update includes integration with Google Lens, better storage management, smart shopping tools and simplified address search.
Benefits for Google Lens users
Users can now use Google Lens directly in Chrome, allowing them to search for text and photos simultaneously. With its help, users can find out the details of any photo. For example, if a user wants to know more about a dress featured in a photo, they can know about it in detail.
storage management
Users will no longer have storage overflow issues since Chrome now allows users to save files and photos directly to Google Drive and Photos. Downloaded files are automatically organized into a “Saved from Chrome” folder in Drive. To add a file from Chrome to your Drive, you need to tap on the Google Drive option while saving the file. If you want to save a photo to Photos from Chrome, long-press the photo and select “Saved to Google Photos” when the menu appears.
You will get the best deals while shopping
US users will soon have access to Shopping Insights, a feature designed to help them find the best deals when shopping online. “Good Deals Now” notifications will now appear in the address bar, with information about price history and price tracking. This installation will also be rolled out to other sites in the coming months.
One-click address navigation
Navigating to addresses found on websites is now easier since a simple tap on the underlined address will display a mini-map directly in Chrome. This will eliminate the need to switch to Google Maps. This feature is currently rolling out globally.
