Mobile press office – After teasing the Vivo Y300 for a few days, the company has finally announced the launch date of the phone. The company revealed on X that the Vivo Y300 will be launched in India on November 21. Apart from this, in this teaser, the company also revealed the design of the upcoming smartphone. Vivo Y300 features a dual camera setup on a rectangular island. It also has a light ring just below the camera lens. Apart from this, the back panel is a plain design and has the brand logo at the bottom.
Better low-light photography on the phone
Vivo Y300 has a square design with a metal frame. The company has confirmed that the phone will be available in three color options: Dark Purple, Sea Green, and Grey. The company has not yet revealed the trade names of these variants. The rear panel hints at an interesting camera detail. Vivo Y300 also has Aura Lights for better low-light photography.
Vivo Y300: expected price
The rear panel design is quite different from the Vivo Y200 launched last year. Since the Vivo Y200 was priced below Rs 20,000, we can expect its price to be slightly higher i.e. below Rs 25,000. Apart from the launch date and design , the company is yet to share any further details about the phone, but leaks and teaser images suggest that the Y300 will have a special design with elements like titanium, reminiscent of the first model introduced to the world. the Vivo V40 Lite.
Vivo Y300: Specs and Features
The Vivo Y300 is expected to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display offering a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. According to the teaser, the dual camera setup on the rear panel is likely to feature a primary sensor of 50 megapixels and a secondary lens of 8 megapixels. The main camera will use the Sony IMX882 sensor, ideal for detailed portraits.
80W fast charging support will be available
For selfies, the Y300 could feature a 32-megapixel front camera, which would differentiate it from many other models in its lineup. The upcoming mid-range smartphone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM. Apart from this, the phone is expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
Connectivity Features
Vivo Y300 has connectivity options like Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB-C port. Running FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14, the device features stereo speakers and has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. It also has an optical fingerprint sensor under the display for biometric access.
