Mobile press office – Nubia recently launched the RedMagic 10 Pro and 10 Pro+, the flagship models in its RedMagic lineup, and the company will now launch the Z70 Ultra in China next week. The brand announced the date via its social networks. The smartphone was also teased, in which information about its display was given. The upcoming Z series phone from the ZTE sub-brand will come with a 6.85-inch panel from BOE that will support a 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC . This phone will be the successor to the Nubia Z60 Ultra.
Nubia revealed in a post on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo that the Nubia Z70 Ultra smartphone will be launched in China on November 21. The smartphone will be unveiled at 2:00 p.m. local time (11:30 a.m. IST). A teaser image was shared in the post, which hints at a better gaming experience with the smartphone. It features a screen with extremely thin bezels, without a notch or hole for the selfie camera, which indicates that, like the RedMagic 10 Pro series, it will also have an under-screen camera equipped with the AI Transparent 7.0 algorithm .
The Nubia Z70 Ultra will have a 6.85-inch 1.5K display panel, featuring a 144Hz refresh rate and 95.3% screen-to-body ratio. The BOE-made panel will have a peak brightness level of 2,000 nits and a pixel density of 430 ppi. The company claims that the smartphone will have 1.25mm thin bezels. The Z70 Ultra is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Nubia’s Nebula AIOS will be available there.
Nubia Z70 Ultra will be the successor to the Z60 Ultra launched last year, packed with excellent gaming features. The Z60 Ultra runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It features a 6.8-inch BOE Q9+ OLED display, featuring 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone includes a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging W, a triple rear camera and a front camera under the screen.
