YouTube private browsing mode
The feature we are talking about is called “YouTube Incognito Mode”. Whenever you want to watch a video that you don’t want to show to others, you can use this feature. When Incognito mode is enabled, the YouTube app works exactly as if no one was logged in.
How to use incognito mode
Incognito mode prevents anyone from accessing information like your watch history and subscriptions. Follow these steps to use this mode.
Open the YouTube app on your phone.
Tap your account icon on the screen.
Here you select the “Enable incognito mode” option.
If this is your first time using this mode, press “Got”.
keep this in mind
When this feature is enabled, the profile icon will look like Chrome’s incognito icon. Additionally, you will also see “You are incognito” written. If you remain inactive in Incognito mode for more than 90 minutes, the mode will automatically turn off. When you open it, it will tell you that you are no longer in private browsing mode.
