Mobile press office – Vivo has announced the launch date of its upcoming Vivo S20 series after revealing the design and key specifications. In this series, the company offers Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro smartphones, which are the successors of Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro. These were launched in May. After launching in China, Vivo S20 series phones may be launched in India and other markets under the V brand.
Vivo S20 series launch date
Vivo has officially posted on Weibo that the upcoming Vivo S20 series will enter China on November 28 at 7 PM IST. The company will broadcast the event for this purpose on its website.
Expected specifications
A company official recently revealed information about the Vivo S20 series phones.
Display: The Vivo S20 series phones may have a BOE Q10 OLED display, but the screen size is not yet known, but the previous model has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display.
Chipset: The vanilla variant is expected to have a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. While the Pro variant will have the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset.
Rear camera: The S20 Pro will have a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens.
Selfie Camera: Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro are expected to feature a 50 MP front camera for selfies and video calling.
Battery: The Vivo S20 will have a 6,500 mAh battery, while the Vivo S20 Pro will have a 5,000 mAh battery.

Coming to the design, the Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro feature an oval-shaped camera module that houses two cameras housed in a circular module. However, the Pro variant has an additional sensor, placed outside the circular module. Both models have an Aura LED light on the camera module. While the vanilla model has flat edges, the Pro model has slightly curved edges. Meanwhile, the power and volume buttons are visible on the right side.
Vivo V40 Series
In August this year, Vivo launched the Vivo V40 series in India. In this, the company had launched two models. The Vivo V40 5G smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. It has Adreno 720 GPU for graphics support. At the same time, the Pro variant was introduced with MediaTek’s powerful Dimensity 9200+ SoC.
