Mobile press office – Xiaomi will launch two new smartphones in its Redmi K80 series tomorrow, on November 27. The company offers the K80 and K80 Pro phones as successors to the previous K70 series. It will have a powerful processor for performance. Additionally, both phones will have a large battery for power. The company is introducing the series in the flagship segment. Ahead of the launch, many details were revealed about it. Here we will talk about it.
Screen and processor
The upcoming K80 and K80 Pro smartphones would feature 2K resolution AMOLED displays developed by TCL Huaxing. A custom M9 luminescent material was used, which makes it different from other displays. Upcoming phones will come with eye protection at the hardware level. In terms of performance, both phones will feature Qualcomm’s chipset. The high-end model will feature Qualcomm’s all-new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, based on 3nm architecture. At the same time, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor is expected to be available in the base variant.

The Redmi K80 is expected to have a 50 MP OmniVision OV50 primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP macro lens. For selfies, it will use a 20 MP OmniVision OV20B front camera. The Pro model sports a 50 MP primary sensor, a 32 MP high-resolution ultra-wide sensor, and a 50 MP ISCOELL JN5 telephoto lens with 2.6x optical zoom. It also has a 20 MP camera sensor for selfies. The Redmi K80 will pack a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired charging support. The Redmi K80 Pro will have a 6,000mA battery with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
