It has now become very easy for users to see status updates and now you will be able to preview status updates without even opening them. The new update has been released in the stable version for the mobile app on iOS and Android platforms and a new feature related to sharing sticker packs has also been integrated into the app.
In the Meta-owned app, users get a dedicated section for status updates. Previously, circular updates were displayed along with the profile picture. Apart from this, a circle is also visible on the profile picture in the chat window, on pressing which the status can be seen. The new layout features vertical statuses and lets you preview content without having to tap or open it.
Update the app to the latest version
If you still don’t see the new change related to status updates, you need to update the app to the latest version. You can update the app by visiting Google Play Store or App Store and then you will start seeing the new changes. Apart from this, some features of the app are being beta tested, which will be rolled out to everyone later.
One of these features is related to the sticker pack. WABetainfo said in one of its latest reports that the company offers users the option to share the entire sticker pack. This feature is currently available for beta users in WhatsApp Beta for Android version 2.24.25.2 and will later be part of the stable version for everyone. With its help, users will be able to easily share a sticker pack by tapping on the three dots accompanying it.
