The company claims that this new solution is designed to detect and report spam messages through automated machine-based solutions, providing users with a safe and clutter-free mobile experience. Since the initial testing phase, the system has identified more than 24 million spam messages. Jagbir Singh, CTO of Vodafone-Idea, said that as people move towards digital communication, the threat of spam and SMS scams also increases.
