Technical News Office – There is a big threat to your bank account. At the same time, if you are a customer of ICICI, HDFC or Axis Bank, you need to be more careful. According to the Zscaler ThreatLabz report, the risk of phishing attacks against mobile customers of these banks has increased significantly. Fraudsters also trick users by creating fake websites that look like the bank’s real website. Apart from this, these scammers also send emails to users, which look exactly like the emails from the bank. Using these tricks, hackers insert malware into the user’s smartphone, giving them full access to the device.
Cybercriminals profit greatly from successful phishing attacks
Users easily fall for fake websites and emails and unknowingly provide their banking details and personal data to cybercriminals. By taking advantage of this information, hackers can completely drain the user’s bank account. ICICI, HDFC and Axis Bank are among the largest banks in India. This is why customers of these banks remain the first choice for cybercriminals. Due to the large customer base, fraudsters expect to make huge profits from a successful phishing attack. That is why they are constantly trying to trap the customers of these banks.
Keep these things in mind to keep yourself safe
1- Delete fake emails and SMS from unknown numbers immediately. Do not click on the links given in these messages even by mistake.
2- Check the website address at least twice. Before entering the login information, make sure you are on the bank’s original site.
