Google said that many new features are being added to the Google Pay payment app and apart from that, AI will be used to protect users from threats like fraud. The company claimed that since last year till now, users have saved Rs 13,000 crore.

Google said that last year, more than 4 crore warnings were shown to Google Pay users and Rs 13,000 crore of their money was saved through scams. Google is now also using artificial intelligence (AI) to remove fraudulent reviews. It is claimed that over 17 million fake reviews have been removed so far. These reviews violated Google Maps policies. The company hopes that in the coming days the new changes will also bring better security and trust to users.

Secure experience with real-time analysis
The software company has come up with a new real-time scanning feature with Google Play Protect, which automatically scans apps and detects never-before-seen threats. In this way, Google has detected more than a million malicious applications worldwide. Now this platform also provides a new fraud detection feature to Android devices in India.

If Android users load an app through a web browser, file manager, or email app that wants access to sensitive permissions, Google Play Protect will block the installation. This service has been available in Singapore for over 6 months and will now be extended to users in India as well. It is claimed that with its help, the installation of 9 lakh high-risk apps was stopped. Google said these weren’t just numbers, but showed how many businesses had been protected and how many users had been spared significant losses.
