Technical News Office – Meta-owned WhatsApp is continually bringing new features to its users. WhatsApp has rolled out two new features status and mention for its users. With the new feature, users can like someone else’s WhatsApp status. Along with this, the company has also started rolling out the Mention feature for all users, allowing a special person to be mentioned in the status. By doing this, the WhatsApp user experience will become even better.
This is how the new WhatsApp feature will work
This feature will appear as a heart icon next to the already existing reply button. Under the Mention feature, you can tag a friend in a story when posting. Along with this, you will also be able to re-share the photo or video in which you have been added. While viewing the status, you will have the option “Reshare Icon” next to the reply, after which you can share that photo or video on your account.

To use these two features you will need to update the WhatsApp app by visiting Google Play Store and App Store or if you do not have this app you will need to download it. Even after the update, if you are unable to use the new features, then you will need to have some patience, you will start getting these features in the next 1-2 days.
