Government issues red alert for laptop users! If you open this browser even by mistake it will cause huge losses.

Technical News Office – Keeping cybersecurity in mind, the Indian government has issued a security warning for Microsoft Edge users. This warning was issued this week. This security issue is visible in Microsoft’s Chrome-based browser. CERT-In gave a poor rating on this subject. The security agency claimed that many types of issues have been seen in the Microsoft web browser and due to this, hackers can access the data. According to the CERT-In bulletin dated October 7, 2024, such issues are seen in Microsoft Edge.

These issues are due to lack of data validation. Attackers can take advantage of these vulnerabilities. This issue was noticed due to layout overflow and poor implementation in V8. With its help, attackers can see such things. It also helps in removing security vulnerabilities. Edge users should now be very careful about this. The warning says you should be careful before opening personal data.

To avoid such problems, you should update your browser immediately. You also get bug fixes with the update. Edge has become very popular this year. This has been seen through the advent of AI integration. But it helps hackers a lot because they can easily access the data. If your system is running on an old version, it will become an easy target for hackers.
