Technical News Office –Acer has announced two new Iconia tablets in India, called the Acer Iconia 8.7 (iM9-12M) and Acer Iconia 10.36 (iM10-22). These tablets support dual-band Wi-Fi, dual-SIM 4G LTE connectivity, and come with Android 14. The Acer Iconia 8.7 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22T SoC and a 5,100 mAh battery, while the Acer Iconia 10.36 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and a 7,400 mAh cell. These are currently available for purchase in India.

The Acer Iconia 8.7 price in India starts at Rs 11,990, while the Acer Iconia 10.36 is available at a starting price of Rs 14,990. Both tablets are listed online in Gold color option. Customers will be able to purchase the tablet via Amazon India, Acer India website and Acer exclusive stores. The company says these prices are valid for a limited time as part of a special offer.

The Acer Iconia 8.7 (iM9-12M) features an 8.7-inch WXGA (1340 x 800 pixels) IPS multi-touch display that supports a peak brightness of 400 nits, while the Iconia 10.36 (iM10-22) features a 10.36-inch 2K (2000 x 1200 pixels) IPS display that supports a maximum brightness of 480 nits. The small-sized tablet is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22T SoC, paired with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB eMMC storage.
At the same time, the larger tablet features an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 chipset with 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB eMMC storage. Both models come with Android 14 operating system. The Acer Iconia 8.7 comes with an 8-megapixel primary rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. Acer Iconia 10.36 has a 16-megapixel primary rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The Acer Iconia 8.7 comes with dual stereo speakers, while the 10.36-inch variant gets a quad stereo speaker.
The Acer Iconia 8.7 packs a 5,100mAh battery with 10W support and is said to offer up to eight hours of battery life. The Acer Iconia 10.36, on the other hand, has a 7,400mAh cell that claims up to 10 hours of use with 18W wired charging. Connectivity options on the tablet include dual Wi-Fi band, Bluetooth 5.2, OTG, dual SIM 4G LTE connectivity as well as a USB Type-C port. The 8.7-inch variant measures 211.3 x 126.6 x 8.7 mm and weighs 365 grams, while the 10.36-inch variant measures 246.0 x 155.6 x 7.8 mm and weighs 475 grams.
