What did CERT-In say in the notice?

He adds: “These vulnerabilities in Android exist due to flaws in the framework, system, Google Play system updates (ART and Wi-Fi subcomponents), Imagination Technologies components, MediaTek components, components Qualcomm and closed-source Qualcomm components. » The agency says that if these vulnerabilities are successfully exploited, the hacker could execute arbitrary code on the target system. As per the advisory, Android users are advised to apply appropriate updates to their devices to avoid falling victim to hacking. Google has released the Android security patch for October 2024. The bulletin states “Android partners are notified of all issues at least one month in advance of release. Source code fixes for these issues have been published to the Android Open Source repository Project (AOSP) and from this linked bulletin. This bulletin also contains links to fixes outside of AOSP.
