Technical News Office – The government has issued a high risk warning for users using Apple devices. India’s Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has said that users of iPhone, iPad, MacBook and Safari browser are being targeted by cybercriminals. In the high risk warning issued on November 7, users were advised to keep their Apple devices updated.
Risk of data theft and loss of service
CERT-IN said vulnerabilities were found in multiple versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, watchOS, visionOS and Safari. Through them, cybercriminals can cause serious damage to individuals and organizations using Apple products. This also includes theft of data present in the device and denial of service.

1- With Apple iOS and iPadOS versions prior to 18.1
2- With Apple iOS and iPadOS versions prior to 17.7.1
3- Apple macOS Sequoia with versions prior to 15.1
4- macOS Sonoma with versions prior to 14.7.1
5- macOS Ventura with versions prior to 13.7.1
6- With watchOS version prior to 11.1
7- With a tvOS version prior to 18.1
8- Apple visionOS with versions prior to 2.1
9- Apple Safari with versions prior to 18.1
