Technical News Office – Amazon India has launched a new service called Amazon Clinic, which will provide online medical consultations for over 50 health conditions. With this clinic, Amazon will now compete with telehealth platforms like Practo, MediBuddy, 1mg Online Consultation and others. Tell us about the new service in detail.

Amazon Clinic will provide consultations from expert doctors in various fields including dermatology, gynecology, pediatrics, gastroenterology, cardiology, endocrinology, psychiatry, orthopedics and others. The consultation fees at the clinic start from Rs 299 and go up to Rs 799 depending on the specialist. You can book a consultation online for a particular slot. Online consultations include video, audio, and chat support, plus free, unlimited follow-up for seven days. Amazon said consultations typically last 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the complexity of the health issue. Amazon Clinic is currently available exclusively on the Amazon Android app and will soon be available on the iOS app as well. However, it is not available via PC.
How to book an online consultation at Amazon Clinic:
Tap the Pharmacy option on the Amazon app.
Then tap on the Clinic banner.
Then tap Book a new consultation.
Then select the expert from the list.
Then select the doctor and tap Consult.
Then choose the consultation time and press Confirm.
Then accept the terms and conditions and tap Make an appointment.
Then select the user profile and complete it by entering your personal information. Tap Create Profile to create a clinic profile.
You can also set a PIN for your clinical profile if you wish.
Once you’ve done that, accept the terms and conditions again and tap Make Appointment.
You can now make payments and book doctor appointments on Amazon Clinic.
This way, you can talk to the doctor about your health and get an online consultation from the comfort of your home.
