Technical News Office – Tech giant Google has started officially rolling out Android 15 for its Pixel devices. The new Android update brings many new features and security updates to further improve the user experience. Although this update does not fix the system visually, it does include new and improved tools related to privacy and multitasking. If you’re a Pixel user, here’s some information on how you can install the update and what you might get in the new Android version.
How to update Pixel phone to Android 15:
First, open the Settings app on your Google Pixel device.
After that, scroll down and tap on the System option.
You will have the option to update the software in the system menu. Tap it.
Tap the Check for updates button. If Android 15 is available for your device, the system will notify you and start downloading the update. The new update is around 1GB, so it will take some time to install.
Once the download is complete, Android 15 will install in the background. In the meantime, users can use their phones.
When the update is ready, users will be prompted to restart their phone. After restarting, your Pixel will start running Android 15.
If you don’t see a software update, don’t worry. Google releases updates gradually, so it may take a few days to reach all users’ devices.

Google is rolling out Android 15 support for recent Pixel devices. Older Pixel devices run on Qualcomm Snapdragon chips and are therefore not part of this upgrade. This update is now available exclusively for Pixel phones based on Google’s Tensor chipset. The list of Pixel devices for Android 15 update includes Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8a, Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
