The most powerful Mate phone ever
Huawei’s latest flagship smartphone, the Mate 70, is the first device to feature HarmonyOS Next. It does not support Android apps and does not work with Google services. Huawei President Richard Yu described it as “the most powerful Mate phone ever.” It will soon be available for sale in China.

Google’s Android will no longer be available from next year
The Huawei Mate 70 series will include four models Mate 70, Mate 70 Pro, Mate 70 Pro Plus and Mate 70 RS. The company also offers the option to switch between Android-based HarmonyOS 4.3 and HarmonyOS Next to make it user-friendly. However, starting next year, all Huawei phones and tablets will be based on HarmonyOS NEXT by default.

The starting price of Mate 70 is 5,499 Yuan which is approximately Rs 64,000. While the price of Mate 70 Pro is 6,499 Yuan which is approximately Rs 75,667. In the device, you get features like connectivity satellite, Wi-Fi 7 and a 48MP telephoto lens. While the price of Mate 70 Pro Plus is 8,499 Yuan which is around Rs 98,952. While the price of Mate 70 RS is 11,999 Yuan which is around Rs 1,39,702. It includes premium features like a titanium frame.

Huawei also introduced a new foldable device called Mate X6. It has a 7.63-inch foldable display and is priced at 12,999 yuan which is around Rs 1,51,345. Let us tell you that Huawei is banned from using Google services since 2019. However, even after that , the company continued to ship its devices with HarmonyOS based on Android, because Android is an open source platform, but with the launch of HarmonyOS NEXT, Huawei is moving completely to its own operating system.
