According to the government cybersecurity agency, numerous flaws have been discovered in the Android operating system. How to ensure your safety?
CERT-In has proposed some measures to avoid these dangers…
1. Update your Android device: Install security updates released by Google and device manufacturers (OEMs). To do this, click Settings > System upgrade > Check for updates for device updates.
2. Download apps only from trusted sources: Always install apps from Google Play Store. Don’t load apps from unverified platforms.
3. Check app permissions: Turn off permissions for apps you don’t need. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for specific apps.
4. Enable device encryption: Use device encryption to protect your device and data.
