To avail the facility of digital payment through UPI, many people often resort to UPI apps. Do you know that activating a UPI mode can put your bank account at risk? Do not enable this UPI mode
Using UPI, we pay electricity bills, recharge, recharge OTT apps, subscribe to other apps. If such payment has to be made every month, then we prefer to adopt UPI auto payment mode to remain tension free, but sometimes UPI auto payment mode can become a cause of problems.
What is UPI automatic payment method?
A special feature of UPI is the Autopay mode, which allows users to make automatic payments. For this, users do not need to enter the UPI PIN. By entering UPI PIN once, you can easily make payment in future without entering UPI PIN.
The bank account may be empty!
If you leave the automatic payment method enabled for monthly payment OTT apps or in case of non-payment, sometimes the money is automatically deducted from the bank account. In such a situation, it often happens that we do not remember the service for which we have kept the automatic payment method and sometimes money starts being deducted for the service which we are not using. By disabling the automatic money deduction mode, you can make payments every month as you wish, so you know for which services money is deducted from the bank.
