With these cheap plans, the government telecom operator has added many users from private telecom operators Jio, Airtel and Vodafone Idea. By July, the three private companies had made their mobile plans expensive, leading to a reduction of over a million users of these companies. Nowadays, BSNL is not only offering cheap recharge plans but is also improving its network coverage.
BSNL’s 4G network
The government telecom recently installed 50,000 new 4G mobile towers across the country, out of which more than 41,000 towers have become operational. At the same time, the company will install 50,000 new mobile towers over the coming months. BSNL will commercially launch a 4G network across the country in June next year. Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia recently confirmed this information.
Cheap plan of Rs 999
This cheap recharge plan from BSNL is priced at Rs 999. In this plan, users get a validity of 200 days. In this prepaid recharge plan, users enjoy unlimited voice calls. Users can make free calls to any network across the country. However, users do not get free data in this recharge plan. This BSNL recharge plan is specially for those users who use BSNL number only for calling.
However, BSNL also offers a cheap recharge plan of Rs 997, where users get unlimited free calls on any network across the country. In this plan, users get 2GB of high-speed data daily. Additionally, this plan also benefits from 100 free SMS per day. In this plan from BSNL, users get 160 days validity. This plan is particularly aimed at smartphone users who need data in addition to calls. Private telecom companies Jio, Airtel and Vodafone do not offer any recharge plan in which users get 200 days validity.
