mobile press office,Chinese smartphone maker Nubia’s Red Magic 10 Pro series will launch this week. This series may include Red Magic 10 Pro and Red Magic 10 Pro+. These smartphones can replace the Red Magic 9 Pro and Red Magic 9 Pro+ introduced last year. Nubia gave the teaser of Red Magic 10 Pro on the Chinese messaging platform Weibo. It will have a full-screen BOE OLED display with 1.5K resolution. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite will be provided as the processor in this series of smartphones. This will be the first smartphone with the new Wukong screen. This screen was developed in collaboration with BOE. Red Magic 10 Pro will launch in China on November 13. Pre-reservation is available for these smartphones. The Red Magic 10 Pro and Red Magic 10 Pro+ may pack a 7,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has been provided as the processor in Red Magic 9 Pro and Red Magic 9 Pro . These smartphones have up to 24 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. The Full HD+ display on the Red Magic 9 Pro and Red Magic 9 Pro+ measures 6.9 inches (1116 x 2480 pixels).
Smartphone shipments in the country grew around 3% year-on-year in the third quarter of the current year. However, the value of smartphones increased by around 12% in the third quarter. South Korea’s Samsung continues to occupy the top position in this market with a share of around 23 percent. According to market research firm Counterpoint’s monthly smartphone tracking report, smartphone volumes in the third quarter increased by almost 3% on a year-over-year basis. However, the value of smartphone shipments increased by around 12 percent and reached a quarterly all-time high. Samsung has around 23 percent share of this market. The company added the Galaxy AI to its affordable mid-range and A-series premium smartphones. iPhone maker Apple ranks second in this market with a 21.6 percent share. The company benefited from strong demand for iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 series smartphones.
