Mobile press office – Oppo’s new smartphone series is about to be launched. We are talking about the Oppo Find X8 series, which is the brand’s flagship smartphone series. Oppo officially announced that the Find X8 series will launch in China on October 24. The brand also confirmed that the series will be equipped with the all-new Dimensity 9400 chipset, which uses TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process technology.

The Find X8 series will include several models, such as the Oppo Find X8, Find The lineup also includes the Find X8 Ultra, which is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The Ultra model is expected to launch in January 2025.

The leaked images revealed that the Find X8 series will have a round camera module on the back. The Pro model is expected to feature a quad-camera setup equipped with two periscope telephoto lenses, while the standard model will feature a triple-camera setup with a single periscope lens. This series is also expected to feature camera control buttons, like the iPhone 16 series. The Find X8 series will have a micro-quad-curved OLED display on the front. It has also been confirmed that the entire lineup will support 50W magnetic wireless charging and run Android 15 based on ColorOS 15. Like the Reno 12 series, the Find X8 models are also expected to support a feature off-grid communications network called BeaconLink.
What is special about the Dimensity 9400 processor?
The Dimensity 9400 processor features a second-generation all-big-core CPU architecture, consisting of one high-performance Cortex-X925 core clocked at 3.62 GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores, and four Cortex-A720 cores. This configuration increases single-core performance by 35% and multi-core performance by 28% compared to the previous generation.
In addition, the processor adopts PC-level Armv9 architecture with double cache capacity and is the first processor to support 10.7Gbps LPDDR5X memory, improving both speed and efficiency. These improvements result in a 40% reduction in power consumption under the same performance conditions, providing users with higher performance as well as longer battery life. The Dimensity 9400-equipped Find X8 Pro Satellite Edition was recently spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark with an impressive score of 2,88,00,558.
Phones will also be launched in India
The Find X8 series is also said to be launched in the global market soon as the Find X8 and X8 Pro have also been certified in countries like India, Indonesia, and Thailand.
