Mobile press office – The Apple iPhone 15 once again tops the list of top 10 best-selling smartphones. Counterpoint Research has released its data for the third quarter i.e. 2024. According to this, iPhone 15 was the best-selling smartphone in the third quarter of 2024. After that, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max occupy the second and third places. Another iPhone to make it to this list is the iPhone 14, launched in 2022. Apple iPhone 14 has secured the 9th position in the list.
5 out of 10 best-selling phones come from Samsung
Samsung has 5 phones in the list of best smartphones. The list was dominated by 10 smartphones, which shows the strong hold of Samsung-iPhone in the market. Out of the 5 Samsung phones included in the list, 4 belong to the Galaxy A series, namely Samsung Galaxy A15 4G, Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, Samsung Galaxy A05 and Samsung Galaxy A35. The Samsung Galaxy S24 is the first Galaxy S model to top the global Q3 rankings since 2018, taking 10th place. Samsung attributes this success to its Generative AI (GenAI) features.
