According to India Today report, you can now update your details in Aadhaar for free until December 14, 2024. Let us tell you that there is no free option available to update biometric information. To update the biometric data, you will need to visit the Aadhaar center and pay the update fee.

How to Update Aadhaar for Free
1. To update Aadhaar for free, first visit the UIDAI website https://uidai.gov.in/.
2. Go to the My Aadhaar portal on the home page and log in by entering the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
3. Review your information and check the box if all information is correct.
4. If your demographic information is incorrect, go to the drop-down menu and select your identification documents.
5. After that, upload the required documents.
6. Finally, you will get a 14-digit Update Request Number (URN), through which you can follow the Aadhaar update process.
