How will this new feature work?
Creators involved in this program can choose songs from the list and tell the AI what kind of changes they want to make to the song. They can change the mood or genre of the song. After that, the AI creates a new version of the song, which not only retains the style of the original song but also includes the creator’s ideas. YouTube ensures that the original song is properly credited on the Shorts and Audio pages, making it clear that the track was remixed with the help of AI.
What is the dream track?
Dream Track launched in November 2023 and is powered by Google’s AI team DeepMind. Initially, this allowed some American creators to use AI-generated versions of well-known artists’ voices. This feature is made in collaboration with Universal Music Group and many popular musicians like John Legend, Charli XCX and Troye Sivan. Over the past year, it has become available to all creators in the United States.
