Mobile press office – Chinese smartphone maker Realme’s GT 7 Pro will be launched in the country next week. Pre-orders will be available starting November 18 via the Amazon e-commerce site and offline channels. It is one of the first smartphones to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The GT 7 Pro was introduced in China earlier this month. The company said the pre-order can be done on Amazon by paying Rs 1,000.
A bank offer of Rs 3,000 will also be available on this point. A media report states that it will come with 1-year screen damage insurance and an additional 1-year warranty. Its base variants are priced in China at 3,699 yuan (approximately Rs. 44,000) and 4,799 yuan (approximately Rs. 57,000). This smartphone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO 8T curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness level of 6,000 nits. The GT 7 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. This smartphone runs on Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 14.
The company offered three years of operating system updates and four years of security upgrades for this. The 6,500mAh battery of this smartphone supports 120W fast charging. The GT 7 Pro has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 main camera with support for optical image stabilization. Apart from this, there is a 50-megapixel telephoto lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The front of this smartphone has a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. It has an integrated ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for added security.
Recently, Realme introduced an innovation in proprietary fast charging technology. It is called 320W supersonic charging. The company claims that with this, the smartphone can be charged in around 4.5 minutes. Additionally, the company also introduced a new type of foldable battery for smartphones. This battery can be folded and can therefore also be used in foldable smartphones.
