Yes, Noam Shajir, who worked at Google for 21 years, left the company in 2021 because the chatbot he created with a partner was not commercialized. After that, he launched a startup named Character.ai.

It is now one of the most influential AI startups in the world. Again understanding Noam’s need in developing AI technology, Google bought his company for Rs 22,000 crore to bring him back. As part of the deal, Character.ai technology will come to Google and Noam will also work at Google.

The deceased has been identified as Tarun Saxena, an employee of Bajaj Finance, residing in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Tarun, who works in the loan recovery department of Bajaj Finance, wrote, “No matter what I do, the recovery target is not being achieved. If I am not able to recover, I am under pressure to pay the loan EMI myself. I haven’t slept in 45 days. I didn’t even eat properly. After writing this letter, Tarun committed suicide by hanging himself.
