This can be easily done by dialing the official USSD code.
This service, launched by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), ensures that users can access banking services even without an internet connection. The *99# service facilitates various banking transactions, including sending and receiving interbank funds, checking account balance, and setting or changing UPI PIN. How to make UPI payment without internet:
First dial *99# from the registered mobile number linked to your bank account.
After that, you will see a menu with different banking facilities. These options are shown below:
send money
ask for money
check balance
my profile
pending request
Exchange
UPI PIN
To send money you have to type 1 and send it.
Then choose the method to send money: mobile number, UPI ID, registered beneficiary or other options. Then type in the relevant number and press “Send”.
If you choose to transfer via mobile number, enter the recipient’s mobile number linked to the UPI account and tap ‘Send’.
Then enter the amount you want to transfer and press “Send”.
If you want, you can also remark for payment.
After that, enter the UPI PIN to complete the transaction.
After that, your UPI transaction will be done offline.
