HMD Fusion phone equipped with 108MP camera and 256GB storage will enter Indian market soon, check price immediately

Mobile News Desk – HMD is gearing up to launch HMD Fusion as its new smartphone in India. Its teaser page was also posted on Amazon. HMD first launched it globally in September and now it would be launched in the Indian market. The company wrote “Experience Fusion” and “Go beyond just a smartphone” in the teaser. After launching in India, it will be sold on Amazon and the company’s website.

The company teased the stylish outfits
HMD has highlighted smart outfits like gaming outfits, flashy outfits, the ring-shaped LED light around the camera module and the modularity feature that will allow you to connect these outfits with a six-pin connector. The company has already introduced rugged outfits, casual outfits and more, but it is unclear which outfit it will bring to India first. It is also said that the phone will have an easy self-repair feature as it will be Gen2 repairable.

HMD Fusion Basic Specifications
The company first showed off HMD Fusion at IFA 2024. The phone can be paired with interchangeable cases (sold separately) called Smart Outfit. These interchangeable cases add different features to the phone. These smart outfits can be connected to the phone via six pins. Outfits unlock new abilities. This eye-catching outfit includes a built-in light ring for use with the front and rear cameras. It allows users to control ambient lighting and camera effects via on-device controls. The robust equipment has an IP68 rating and supports wireless charging with a magnet and an emergency button (ICE).

HMD Fusion runs on Android 14 and the company promises two years of OS upgrades and three years of security updates. It features a 6.56-inch HD Plus display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits peak brightness. It runs on a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD card. For photography, the phone has a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor with electronic image stabilization (EIS) and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the phone has a 50-megapixel camera.

The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and also supports face unlock feature. Connectivity options on the phone include Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, OTG, USB Type-C port, and WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax. Built-in sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.

As with the recently launched HMD Skyline, users can easily replace the battery and other components of the new Fusion using the iFixit kit. The phone has an IP52 rated construction. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W charging. The battery is said to last 65 hours on a single charge. Its dimensions are 164.15×75.5×8.32 mm and its weight is 202.5 grams.
