Telecom operators and infrastructure providers will also benefit a lot. DoT Secretary Neeraj Mittal has written a letter to secretaries of all states on the matter. He said everyone should make sure of this by November 30. After that, the new RoW portal rules will come into effect from January 1. In this context, DoT Secretary Neeraj Mittal said, “The new rule is expected to come into force from January 2025. “The current RoW rule should be stopped here. This means that the new rule will now come into force. After the arrival of the new rule, the states will be given more power so that they themselves can give clarifications to the authority on this issue.
