Mobile press office – Lava recently launched Lava Agni 3, priced at Rs 20,999 but packed with many premium features. iPhone-like action buttons, a secondary display, a 5000 mAh battery and a 50 megapixel camera make this phone the most special and different at this price. Such features are not available on any other phone at this price. The device is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor, making it a powerful phone in its segment. Today we are going to give you a review of this phone and tell you whether it is okay to buy it with a budget of Rs 20,000 or not?
Design and display
The look and feel of Lava Agni 3 is premium. Its back panel is curved at the edges and looks quite smooth. A metal frame was used there. It’s a bit heavy. However, what makes the Agni 3 special is its secondary display and action buttons. The secondary screen, which Lava calls the Insta screen, sits right next to the camera setup on the back. It allows you to manage your notifications and calls without picking up the phone. When using the rear camera, the Insta screen also acts as a viewfinder, so you can use your main camera to take selfies.
The phone has an iPhone-style action button, which can be customized. With this you can take a screenshot with a single click, a double click turns on the flashlight and with a long press you can switch between silent and ring modes. The phone has a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The curved display not only gives it a premium look but also enhances the visual experience. A curved screen means minimal bezels. It’s very responsive, with a fast-response in-display fingerprint sensor.
performance
The phone has the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM. If you want to use the phone as your primary device then it’s pretty good, we didn’t experience any lag. We also didn’t notice much heat on the device, but you may notice slightly higher temperatures while charging. The phone runs Android 14.
camera
The Lava Agni 3 sports a quad-camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera is perfect for capturing clear and sharp photos, but the front camera could have been better.
Battery
The Lava Agni 3’s 5,000 mAh battery easily lasts a day. Support for 66W fast charging of the phone improves the battery experience. The phone charges from 0 to 100% in over 60 minutes. The charger comes in a retail box.
