Technical News Office –YouTube has announced several updates to its Shorts feature. Starting October 15, the platform will increase the video limit for short films from one minute to three minutes. This update will apply to short films that are made in a square or tall format. Additionally, this update will not apply to videos shot before October 15.

In addition to expanding video boundaries, YouTube is also introducing comment previews to the shorts feed. The company is also working on allowing it to create remix clips by capturing different YouTube clips through the Shorts camera. The feature first launched in early 2024, allowing users to isolate audio, use video as a background, cut it for use in their short films, or combine it with their creations .
The new tool will be available in a short version
