The new oven has a capacity of 30 liters and also has smart connectivity. The oven also includes an automatic cleaning function. The company claims that it has a 360-degree heat circulation system, which cooks food evenly in all directions. Xiaomi has currently listed the Mijia Smart Steam Oven S1 30L for pre-booking on JD.com for 1,599 yuan (around Rs 18,700). According to the announcement, its actual retail price is 1,799 yuan. The oven will be officially launched on November 19 and will be available to everyone.
As its name suggests, the Mijia Smart Steam Oven S1 30L is a 30L capacity oven equipped with smart connectivity. It offers several cooking modes and presets. The company claims that it is suitable for a family of 2 to 6 people. It features a 360° heat circulation system with a 1800W fan for even cooking on all sides. It supports a cooking temperature range of 40°C to 230°C. The temperature can be increased or decreased by 1 degree Celsius.
For steam cooking, it has a 1,600 W double direct injection system with 30 seconds of steam emission and adjustable temperatures of 60°C, 100°C and 120°C. It also has an air fry mode, which offers a low-fat option, allowing food to be cooked with 8.1% less oil. There is also a roasting mode to maintain food moisture.
Users can access 80 smart recipes through the app on a smartphone or tablet. It also features Xiaomi’s Xiao AI voice interaction, with the help of which users can set multi-stage cooking cycles. The oven has five automatic cleaning modes, including a high temperature steam disinfection function. For added safety, it comes with a triple-layer tempered glass door.
