Mobile press office – Reliance Jio has announced a steep price cut for its Jio Bharat 4G phones on the occasion of Diwali. The Jio Bharat K1 Carbon and Jio Bharat V2 models from the Jio Bharat series can now be purchased at a 30% lower price i.e. for just Rs 699 instead of Rs 999. The company is promoting this by as a Diwali offer and it is available for a limited time. Along with this offer, a special monthly recharge plan has also been introduced for Jio Bharat 4G phones. Now with a recharge of just Rs 123, users will get unlimited voice calls and 14GB data throughout the month. Jio claims that this plan is 40% cheaper than other operators as for feature phones on other networks, a recharge of Rs 199 needs to be done every month, which is Rs 76 more than Jio’s Rs 123 plan.

Jio Bharat 4G is specially designed for customers moving from 2G network to 4G network. This phone also has features like watching over 455 live TV channels, watching JioCinema highlights, making digital payments and scanning QR codes. Apart from this, preloaded apps like JioPay and JioChat are also available on the phone.
