The phone has a 6.85-inch AMOLED display
The Nubia Z70 Ultra features a 6.85-inch true AMOLED full-screen display with no camera cutouts thanks to its 7th generation under-screen front camera technology. The company has reduced the ultra-narrow black bezels to just 1.25mm and with a screen-to-body ratio of 95.3%, this phone offers an immersive viewing experience. The display supports 1.5K resolution and incorporates FIAA compression routing for better clarity.
The RAM and processor are also powerful
The phone is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, coupled with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage for faster performance. It also features AI Frame Perception 2.0, which improves system fluidity by 25% and application launch speed by 50%. On the back, Nubia has introduced a “Starry Dome Soft Sand” finish, which has a soft, skin-friendly feel. The phone is 8.6mm thick and weighs 228 grams. It is available in Black Seal, Amber and an exclusive Starry Sky Collector’s Edition with two-way satellite communications capability.
Big battery and waterproof too
The phone has a second-generation 6,150mAh silicon-carbon anode battery, which supports 80W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging. The phone features IP68/IP69 protection rating to protect against dust and water. Additional features like the X-axis linear motor and dual speakers enhance the overall experience.
The camera is also solid
The phone is also famous for its camera. The company says it features an “industry-exclusive 35mm dynamic bionic human eye lens.” The phone has a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide macro lens with autofocus, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with OIS. For selfies, it has a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV16A1Q under-display front camera. In addition, the phone has an SLR-level mechanical shutter release for precise focusing and shooting, improving the mobile photography experience.
The company’s first phone with Nebula AIOS
The Nubia Z70 Ultra is the first device to feature the company’s Nebula AIOS, a fully voice-controlled AI operating system. Its future mode makes conversations easier. It also has AI features such as a “Time Capsule” smart assistant, screen-free chat, and AI translation.
