The first beta of Samsung One UI 7 based on Android 15 was supposed to be officially released in July 2024, but the update was not released. November has arrived and the company still hasn’t shared any information about it. However, a tipster has given a lot of information about Samsung One UI 7 Beta, including its release date.
Samsung One UI 7 beta: release date
Regarding the Samsung One UI 7 beta update, a tipster said that it might roll out next week, on November 17. Initially, the company will offer the update to South Korean and American users. The company offers new software updates with many new features. The update could launch in China, UK, Germany, Poland as well as India by December 2024. This will not be the stable version of One UI 7 as Samsung has hinted that it will would launch the stable version with the Samsung Galaxy S25 series in 2025.
Will be rolled out with new features
Samsung will bring many new features in the new update. These features include Control Center widgets including media controls, dark mode, and volume control slider. Apart from this, UI components such as battery indicator in status bar and charging notification have been redesigned in One UI 7. The company is also bringing many new features for Device apps photo and gallery. Reports suggest that there could be new icons for stock apps such as Gallery. The notification bar has been separated from the Control Center. A beta version of UI 7 will get a direct toggle for zoom level in the camera app, a small quick hotkey bar by default. Other items will also be included in the update.
