Technical News Office – OnePlus officially launched its latest magnetic power bank alongside the new OnePlus 13 smartphone in China a few weeks ago. It is now officially available for purchase in China. The company claims that this power bank is only 0.8mm thick and very compact, making it easy to carry anywhere in your pocket. It has a capacity of 5000 mAh and also supports iPhone. Tell us everything in detail about its price and features…
OnePlus Magnetic Power Bank Specifications
The powerbank comes with a dark, minimalist case. It has the OnePlus logo on the front, along with “Magnetic Powerbank” written on it. The good news is that it is a wireless parabank i.e. the phone can be charged by placing this power bank on the back of a phone with wireless charging stand thread. Following the trend of ultra-thin profile, OnePlus claims that the power bank is “wallet-friendly. Can easily fit in. Made from rugged 5-series aircraft aluminum, this power bank weighs only only 120 grams and measures just 0.88 cm at its thinnest point.
However, it seems to have been designed specifically for the new OnePlus 13, as its flat bottom prevents the camera from blocking. However, phones from other brands can also be charged from the external battery. It uses NTC resistors for active temperature control. The most important thing is that the power bank also supports wireless charging for iPhone. There are four small lights at the bottom that provide information about the battery status. There is a button on the side through which users can activate the power bank. However, with only a 5,000mAh capacity, it can’t fully charge the OnePlus 13’s larger 6,000mAh battery in a single charge.
Pricing and availability
The price of the OnePlus Magnetic Power Bank is 149 yuan (around Rs 1700). Interestingly, OnePlus’ parent company Oppo has also launched a similar magnetic power bank with similar specifications. Both powerbanks feature 5,000mAh capacity, wireless charging, and a lightweight design for portability. That being said, it is likely the same product with a different brand.
