Mobile press office – The Oppo Find X8 series is expected to launch later this month. The company has confirmed that it will launch with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. This chipset was announced by MediaTek on Wednesday, October 9. The Chinese smartphone company’s next series will be the successor to the Oppo Find X7 series, which includes the Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra. The next find It has already been claimed in leaks that the Oppo Find X8 will have a 6.5-inch 1.5K display and will be equipped with a 50-megapixel triple rear camera. It should also benefit from wireless charging.
The launch of the Oppo Find X8 series was announced in China on October 24. The company also confirmed the inclusion of MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9400 chipset in the series, which was revealed today, October 9. The new chipset is built on TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process. It has a performance core with 3 Cortex-X4 cores and 4 Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 3.62 GHz. MediaTek said that the flagship chipset will have 35% faster single-core performance and 28% faster multi-core performance compared to the Dimensity 9300. It will also be 40% more efficient than the previous chipset model.
As of now, Oppo has not started revealing the specifications of any models of the upcoming Find X8 series. However, in the recent past, many leaks regarding the Find X8 and Find X8 Ultra have been seen online. Recent leaks have claimed that the Oppo Find X8 will have a 6.5-inch 1.5K display made by BOE.
The vanilla model may get a triple rear camera setup equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary rear sensor. At the same time, it may feature a 5,700mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. While the Oppo Find X8 Ultra will likely get a 6.7-inch or 6.8-inch micro-curved flat display. It is said to include up to 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage.
